🏺 Dahshur, Sakkara & Giza Pyramids Tour – Full Day Itinerary

Your private tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza, and drive you south to start your fascinating Pyramids Tour.

Begin your journey at Dahshur, a royal necropolis that houses two of Egypt’s most remarkable pyramids — the Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid, both built for King Snefru, father of King Cheops. Dahshur is located about 40 km south of Cairo and offers a quieter, more authentic experience away from the crowds.

Continue your tour to Sakkara, home of the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the world’s oldest large-scale stone monument, built during Egypt’s 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) by the legendary architect Imhotep.

After exploring these ancient wonders, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

Next, head to the Giza Plateau to visit the magnificent Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus, followed by a stop at the iconic Great Sphinx, a timeless symbol of ancient Egyptian civilization. You will also explore the Valley Temple, used in the mummification rituals of King Chephren.

After a day filled with history and discovery, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.

Our family had 2 days touring of Cairo and Giza with Salam. He was so knowledgeable and both days felt relaxed as he navigated our tours and eating spots so well. Such a nice guy too. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough!

We went to the Giza Pyramids, Memphis and Saqqara with Salam. He made the trip special by sharing all his knowledge. Not only about the pyramids but about tipping, what to expect and what not to do. He also went with us to Alexandria, Khan El Khalili and the Egyptian Museum. Everything was smoothly planned out. Two thumbs up for him. He speaks Mandarin too! (Wow!) Amazing trip, Amazing guide, Amazing Egypt! (For those wondering about the safety in Egypt with the current war going on in Gaza, it's safe)

We were very well taken care during the entire trip. Salam has been very professional and knowledgeable. He would volunteered information about the place, people and the country which made the trip all the more enjoyable, and he took pride in taking photos so that we could have good memorable moments always. He could also anticipate our needs and made sure we are comfortable. He has been reliable and trustworthy. We are very luck to have met him.

My wife and I customized a 10 day itinerary in Egypt. Salam was our guide in Cairo and Alexandria. We wanted not only to see the ancient ruins, but to travel safely and experience the rich culture of Egypt. Salam did a wonderful job helping us to meet all of these goals. Our travels were rich with humor, discussions of ancient civilizations or modern culture, and traditional Egyptian food! We hope to visit Egypt and Salam in the future with our kids to see some of the sites he recommended that we could not fit into our itinerary. Egypt has so much to see and experience and Salam made certain we enjoyed every step along the way. We were very blessed to have him as our tour guide. Shukran ya, Salam!

Salam, our tour guide in Cairo, was extremely accommodating to our needs, and flexible to our last minute changes in plan. Above all, he is very knowledgeable and has a very good understanding of Egyptian history and archeology. He took great care of us and we felt very comfortable around him. He never disappointed us on his choice of restaurants. Egyptian food was delicious! Just leave everything on him, relax, and enjoy your tour with Salam! We have already recommended him to our friends who plan on visiting Egypt in near future. And of course, we will reach out directly to you Salam, when we return back to explore more of Egypt! Stay safe! Rana & Piki

Salam is very detailed, extremely helpful and has an exceptional sense of humour. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him at the various places we visited and he was also very patient after giving us time to explore the sites on our own. Really one of the best guides around. Highly recommended 👌🏽👌🏽
